Before You Visit

This section takes you into the 18th century where you’ll meet tradespeople, members of royalty, plantation owners, slaves, red coats, the militia, farmers, colonial children, and more.

Will you visit Colonial Williamsburg soon? Join in the fun and wear colonial clothes while you’re here. You may rent children’s costumes daily in the Visitor Center Costume Rental Center and at the booths on Market Square.
